
SOFTBALL ROUNDUP: Mountain View Romps Past Grayson for First Win

LOGANVILLE — Mountain View’s fastpitch softball team posted its first win of the season in dominant fashion Monday.
The Bears rolled to a 12-1 victory at Grayson, and improved to 1-3 on the season after opening with losses to Seckinger, Peachtree Ridge and North Hall.
Olivia Storey was 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBIs, three runs and a walk to lead the Mountain View attack. Gracie Camp was 2-for-4 with a walk and four RBIs, and Emilie Pickens was 2-for-4 with a walk and three RBIs.
Gillian Brooks pitched a complete game for the win and gave up one earned run on five hits.
